Tech Gear

The hardware that earns a place in Edi Budimilić’s daily setup.

Dock-station monitors

Desk setup

Best decision ever. In my company any desk can instantly become my workdesk for a day: single cable and everything works.

iPhone 17 Pro

Phone

Because I'm used to it. Same shit as Android, same issues; the old mobile-OS wars mean nothing today. They all copy each other and you can do everything on both. Except DeX, love that thing where you connect your phone to a screen and you have a PC.

KUXIU X63 3-In-1 MagSafe Charger

Charging stand

A recommendation from a friend, and a good one. Thanks Salsy <3 It holds my iPhone like a super-magnet and charges my AirPods and Apple Watch. I take it with me on my travels so I don't have to think about cables for all my devices. Great for holding the phone on the desk at the office or at home.

ASUS Zenbook Duo UX8406MA

Laptop

Two full 14" screens in one laptop, a heavy and expensive beast but I figured over time that I don't need a portable 2nd screen. Detachable keyboard is cool, used it on meething when my laptop becomes a presentation monitor. Not that happy with the battery so I'll probably switch to ASUS ExpertBook Ultra soon.

Logitech MX Keys S

Keyboard

The best keyboard I've ever used, and I've used plenty. It connects to up to three devices via Bluetooth: no cable, illuminated keys and an integrated battery charged over USB-C.

Logitech M750 L

Mouse

It took me years to find the best mouse, and I did. It connects to three devices via Bluetooth, has no wire, an internal battery and USB-C charging. Most importantly: silent clicks. This mouse is a godsend.

PlayStation 5 Pro

Console

Why not Xbox? Meh. PlayStation keeps me entertained more, and GTA 6 will perform better on it :D The library is so big it would hurt to switch. I also have a Nintendo Switch, but I don't use it at all, only when they release a new Mario.

Steam Deck OLED 512GB

Handheld

The best console ever made. The screen isn't the best, the resolution sucks, the CPU sucks and the battery is terrible, but man, the games work so well and it's soooo playable it's crazy. I love it and carry it on every trip, although I haven't played any games at all since I started cooking with AI 😭
